Director of Packing Operations
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Director of Packing Operations to lead a team of packing specialists. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the packing process for our farm-fresh produce. This individual will drive operational excellence, improve packing efficiency, and build a cohesive, high-performing team. As a key leader in our organization, you will focus on process optimization, quality control, and fostering a positive, solution-oriented team culture to support an outstanding 90-day member experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of packing specialists to ensure top-quality standards in the packing process.
- Develop and execute team-building strategies to maintain high morale, productivity, and collaboration within the team.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development to team members, ensuring they have the skills to perform their roles efficiently and to the highest standard.

Quality Control and Efficiency:
- Oversee the packing process to ensure all produce is carefully packed, protected, and prepared in accordance with company quality standards.
- Monitor packing quality and implement improvements to increase packing speed and reduce errors, ensuring consistent accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure the best quality of packed produce.

Process Optimization:
- Evaluate current packing workflows and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing streamlined processes to increase efficiency without sacrificing quality.
- Introduce and champion new tools, techniques, or systems that enhance packing operations and overall team performance.

Continuous Improvement:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to packing accuracy, speed, and quality, ensuring targets are met consistently.
- Lead regular feedback sessions with the team to identify challenges, celebrate successes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination between packing operations and other areas of the business.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership to report on team performance, challenges, and suggested improvements.
